Security System Installation
I live alone. I work so many hours and am usually tired when I come home. I don’t always have time to be as organized as I would like. So anyway, my mother came to stay with me a few weeks ago. Most of the time she was here, I was working. I came home one day to discover that she threw away and misplaced a lot of my papers- personal and important. Some of the papers had my personal information- social security and bank account numbers on them. Many were important receipts, including one for some medical expenses I had to pay out of pocket last year. Now I can’t prove to my insurance company and I really need to have the money returned to me. I’m very angry about it and it has caused a rift between us. I don’t think she had the right to go through my papers without asking me and decide what to put in the garbage. Her response was for me to put some gloves on and go through the garbage. I mean wtf? What would you do?Even though I’m not organized, I always know how to locate my stuff.I think her whole attitude was arrogant and unnecessary. She could cause me a lot of unneccessary headache. The insurance issue for one. What if some thief goes through the garbage, steals my personal info, and I become a victim of identity theft?I think that was really crossing the line.

We rented a home for the full rental asking price and told the owners as a favor that we would let them keep the house on the market. They wrote this into the rental agreement that we signed. When they refused to return our security deposit we sued them and won in small claims. Now they have filed a lawsuit in retaliation against us in Superior Court for $15,000. claiming that we didn’t make the house available at times to realtors and a realtor who finally sold their house is going to testify that we caused “ready buyers” to change their minds. This is all trumped up because we did everything we could to help sell the house and it had a lock box on it. The owners had listed the house at a high price in a slow economy. This is going to cost us a lot of money to defend. Is this common and are we liable? Can the realtor also file a suit against us?
When I try to set up an ad hoc network named WW from a Toshiba Satellitelaptop running Vista Home Premium, it fails and gives the message”Windows could not set up WW”.I can’t find anything in the Event Viewer that seems to correlate with thefailure. I’ve tried different network names, different Security types butnothing works. This system will detect an existing ad hoc network named WW but will notjoin it. It gives the message:”Windows cannot connect to WW”The Network Diagnostics Events Log entry is”HelperClassName RNWF MSM Helper ClassEventDescription Wireless Diagnostic Helper Class Event For completeinformation about this session see the Wireless Diagnostic InformationalEvent. Any suggestions on what else to try? Thanks,Alan
I Moved in a brand new just built home in WA a year ago. When I moved in there was no lawn and the house looked great. However as time past and the house started to settle nails started popping and the walls in some spots cracked. The land lord but in a lawn in the back yard and didnt do the retaining wall right so all fall winter and spring it has been a swamp at no fault to me. My nephews did make a small hole in the wall but I repaired it when i moved out this last week i had the carpets professionally cleaned and scrubbed the house from top to bottom. I did my walk through last night and the landlord say everything looks great its move in ready except for one thing he wants the house painted from top to bottom do to the cracks and nails and it no longer being brand new paint and wants me to pay for it out of my deposit I dont feel im responsible for the repainting of the house top to bottom due to normal wear and tear rights should I receive my whole deposit back?
